When we formed Suzie Abbott we specialised in bespoke shift dresses.

As our business progressed we were commissoned to make a wide range of other garments from tulle skirts and corsets to coats and 1950s ‘Audrey Hepburn’ influenced dresses, as you will see from some of the photographs on this page.

The Suzie Abbott bespoke process starts with a meeting to discuss client requirements and ideas. Measurements are taken and a calico toile is prepared for first fitting and adjustments. Once the client is completely happy with her look, we work with her to choose fabric either from our vast collection of vintage fabrics or from our new stock or fabric books.
